Holy smokes….today in pgh we had a high of 62 degrees. Had a quick sprinkle in the morning, but come afternoon it was sunny and warm. Needless to say I took FULL advantage of that. :D

Got home from class at around 1:30, did a DP rinse less wash to get dust off, and then brought back out the PC. :hungry:

Was able to use Wolfgang total swirl remover for the whole car, some Megs ult Polish, and then finished with Collinite 845, gotta be ready for when the snow comes again. :)

For the wheels did a quick blackfire wheel and tire gel cleaner, then some Megs endurance tire gel, gonna try and do a review for that since it claims to last weeks.

Finished by 4 :) I'm a pretty happy camper now that the car is nice and shinny again. Best part was when a bird took a bathroom brake right on the side mirror after I had wiped of the Collinite lol.

Hope your mondays are going good!!

Glad to hear you are able to do some detailing and have some unusually warm weather.:props:

28 degrees for me and 6.5 inches of snow from noon yesterday to noon today and its still coming down.

I wouldn't have it any other way though.:)

Nice! I may have a shot tomorrow in my neck of the woods. Hoping we get close to 50.

Whoa!!!...For a minute there I thought you were talking about something else....
Rhymes with Schooner....Like in the song: "Boomer Schooners, Oh boomer schooners....."

Good to get a break in the weather, though. Glad your happy with your results! I got a little bit done on the Wife's Jeep...Maybe some more tomorrow.

:) Bob

Mine also!
I was looking for some pictures.:laughing:

What kinda pics we talking about here? Lol. Didn't get any good pics because it started clouding over again, and inevitably rain. So now the car is all wet and dirty again.

Well get rid of the rain since I have to drive to Downtown Pittsburgh tomorrow morning!:props:

I wish I could get some nice weather here. I am counting on my winter protection to last until warm weather does come through.

And here I am in Texas complaining about rainy 65 degree days lol. Im the same way I try to get a quik detail in regardless if its gonna rain or not. I'd rather have light dirt than a built up film.

We got about 59 here in Delaware and I also brought out the PC. Did wash/Iron X/Clay and got to Menzerna Power finish on 80% of the car. Should be warm here tomorrow as well so I'll finish off with the power finish and put on some wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant.

:dblthumb2:

hope the good weather comes this way....they say in the 60's and sunny......we will see!

Why did you quote "post edited" ???

@Lokichaos: lol next time re-word your title...I thought it was NSFW...
also some pictures would be nice, and no kidding about quickie, you washed, tsr, polished, and waxed, clean wheels, and dressed...all within a 2 hour time frame?! It will take me 2 hours for the tsr alone, and 2 more hours for the wheels

I'll try and get pics tomorrow when the suns supposed to be out. I had help from a friend that was over for a project. That is the only way we got the car done that fast, that and the wheels where still fairly clean cause of a dressing from the last detail session.

Ya next time I'll try and choose my thread titles without double meanings lol.

We had some decent temps here in Harrisburg today though the rain never really stopped. My car is a mess and will likely stay a mess all winter because I'm giving the Opti-Coat 2.0 a torture test this winter.

Because I saw the unedited post which could of have been taken the wrong way in some people's mind......including mine.

Bob cleaned up his post very quickly, which shows he does have some morals, thats why I gave him :dblthumb2: and responded to keep the thread on track and friendly.

It could have gone WAY south in a hurry from a lot of us.

Eva I'm GLAD you had time to detail...in this kind of weather.

You being a female member of a forum thats mostly male some things can be taken out of context very quickly....please choose your wording wisely to avoid connfusion.

If any of my comments where offending to ANYBODY I now bow my head in sorrow and opoligize.

Quickies are always fun...I try to sneak 1 or 2 in every week.
