I'm ready to receive my very 1st order from AG. It's scheduled to arrive tomorrow :xyxthumbs:

Now, I also live in an apartment complex, and I have many detailing limitations, but I have a plan and these are the steps I'm thinking of doing for my very 1st detailing: My wife's 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor LS (dark blue)

 I'll only have time to do the exterior. What do you think?

In case you're interested, these are the products I'll be using with and old PC 7335:

only use a third of one clay bar at a time and check it often for grit

don't forget the wheel barrels!
 
Even though the Porter Cable 7335 was born a sander the main body is identical to that of the Porter Cable 7424, the only difference is how it's outfitted from the factory. This is how manufactures "platform" a design for multiple purposes.

You have your steps in order and if you follow your plan you should be very successful in making that 2004 Mitsubishi look better than new. :dblthumb2:

Take your time and don't rush. Do each panel and once complete more on to the next.

BobbyG, I researched for several months what polisher I wanted but could not pull the trigger because money is tight right now, but you would not believe it...I FOUND the PC 7335 on top of a garbage can on the street, it was covered with sawdust and very dirty, but I immediately recognized it as the PC 7424, so I picked it up, took it home, gave it a good clean and tested it and yes it works just fine! Unbelievable! My guess is that somebody got a new tool and did not want the old one anymore...:dunno:

And it's not the only tool I have found! Once I picked up an old Makita chop saw for free from a garage sale, it was in bad condition but after some TLC, installing a new cord and blade, it's cutting hell of good now...Oh yeah :awesome:
