Talk with your salesperson. Perhaps they will let you use their wash facilities to wash the can then another bay to do you magic, including coating. It could be a good teaching/learning opportunity for the dealership. Doesn't hurt to ask.

They would never allow that due to liability reasons.

I detailed yesterday in temps that started in that range and warmed up to the low 60's. It wasn't too bad.

Yeah I had the Accessport from my current WRX, which I will most certainly be using on the STi. However, not until I install the DW65c fuel pump, ID1000 cc injectors, and Moroso 85645 dual catch-cans I currently have waiting; at that point I will be getting a protune.
