I got a sample of Optimum No Rinse from SEMA or I have DP Waterless Auto Wash...The ONR was highly recommended by the peeps at Optimum

Couple of things:

1. Which one should I try first?
2. Any tips you could share?
3. Is their a review or something I could look at?

THANKS!

Two different products - both good. ONR for dirtier cars.

ONR is much like a standard 2 bucket wash, especially as I pre-treat with garden sprayer filled with ONR.

ONR is a great product.... It smells amazing but works better than it smells lol It works exactly how it says it does. Never had any problems with scratches or swirls. One of the other reasons why I love it, is because you can dilute it to different water to product ratios to make quick detailers and clay lube.

I have never used the DP, so I don't have any comments on that, but if I get a hold of some I'll try it out.

I used the DP rinseless wash the other day. Omg I love the stuff. Can't wait to try out ONR myself

I myself finally gave in and tried the ONR and was extremely impressed with it.

I don't think Ive ever read a bad review about it. The worst is seen was someone didn't like the oily texture of it.

Onr is great! One of my favorite products really.

I have DP waterless wash and its great for weekly maintenance wash. It all depends how dirty your car is. Sometimes if I'm lazy I just power wash the light dirt off my car and use dp waterless wash with my mf.

After you use ONR you will order gallons and gallons of the stuff. I promise.. Im the MAN

ONR is good stuff. At first I worried about inducing marring but it really works well.

Waterless wash is good but I feel that it is more of a treat for causing marring. I've tried it a couple times and didn't feel comfortable with it. It's all personal preference though

I've used waterless washes for light cleaning so far with no marring.

1. Spray where covers but no need to have it dripping.
2. Use long knap MF (folded in quarters) for the initial wipe. One direction and one pass only (no scrubbing).
3. Use medium nap MF (quarters) to buff dry.

Change sides of long nap with body panel (half hood, half roof, door - on medium sedan). Change medium nap side if I see any dirt.

Need 4-8oz waterless, 2 long nap and (generally) only 1 medium nap per wash.

I got some ONR last year for use in the winter, but have started using it more regularly. I like it!

:iagree: I was very skeptical about trying it until a friend of mine showed me the results in person. His car is flawless and all he uses is ONR so my fears of marring were not founded.

After I tried ONR myself I did exactly what tw33... stated. I now have at least 3 gallons of the stuff in my garage :).

Can this be used on a really dirty black car without inducing swirls, marring?

If it has caked on mud, sand and/or grit, then spray down first. Otherwise, yes you can. Just be mindful of what you are doing, check your wash & drying media frequently and use Grit Guards in both buckets.

i LOVE onr, i prefer to use it over a standard wash but thats just me and my car dont get covered in dirt. i dunno what im going to do next month when i drive up north. might need to bring me a travel wash kit lol...someone needs to invent a mobile hot water heater for us mobile detailers!
