So Im working on a car and - BANG!

My whip is 18 years old. With strategic parking strategies I've managed to only incurr two dings during this time frame. Well, make that 3 now. I find this very depressing considering all effort I put into preventing this from happening

I was not being sarcastic. Sorry for your loss ;)

Sorry to hear this happen man... I hate it when people are inconsiderate and downright criminal when they knew they did something...

Hope all works out for you in getting it fixed!

Get a package of bologna and throw the slices all over the car... or even a few cans of Coke! He will need a paint job after that one... Lol... I am just kidding! If you did these things it will be back to haunt you...

I know you were kidding but there has to be some truth in the damage...what does Bologna and Coke do to a car?

Good for you, staying calm isn't the easiest thing to do in a situation like that.

I was able to stay calm when my TA was run into the building by the mechanic. He was being stupid and playing around and he let the car get away from him. Now when it came time for them to pay up for repairs and they jerked me around is when I got a little hot. Lucky for me the lady at the body shop got it all handled for me. Best service I've ever experienced. She made sure I got my car and didn't have to wait

Early 90's. 1987 LX 5.0, fresh black Deltron base/clear, several coats done by friends. While at work (hospital), out of a shared building with a Senior Citizen Daycare (yep, real name) I found a nice, fresh ding in the passenger door, with a big old Old's Delta 88, with the one-acre doors sitting about a foot away. I had them open their car door, and the end of the door literally fit INTO the crease they put into my door, with a local cop there to see it. The car owner denied doing it, and the cop said there was nothing he could do legally. According to PA law it wasn't considered a collision because the cars were parked - it was individual property damage and all I could do was file an individual complaint through the magistrate, which just wasn't worth the hassle.... I've been scarred ever since and my parking habits show it...

Once I had parked my baby in the hospital I work at. And I had to park it in a place I wasn't sure, was safe enough, but I had to be on time for ward rounds lol!

Finally when I came back I saw a minor dent running from the front fender to half of the front door on the passenger side!!!! and a really banged up and scratched car very close right next to it!! (with a bit of paint transfer from my car to his)

:bat:

I dunno what got into me, but I opened my bag and took out a compass I used to carry and kinda murdered the paintjob on his car on the exact same area where he had dented my car!!

No one was around and I kinda felt a lil easy then!! I literally had a heart attach when I saw my flawless paint, ruined by that dbag!!

(I kinda feel like I shouldn't have done that, it was all done in the heat of the moment!! I mean, I take care of my care like a baby and no one gets away after hurting her! :nomore:)
