Hello, I'm Clay. I'm new here. So, I've had this Ol' black 1979 Ford Ranchero sitting around here for about 10 years, and I decided to make that thing look better. Naturally, I grabbed some rubbing compound and went at it...in a small area. I was not happy with the results, so I've been bumming around the internet looking for the best idea. Well, I decided to go for the Mike Phillips Meguiar's M07 paint restoration. I've just done the second application on the hood and tops of the front fenders, and it is doing wonders for the paint. I am impressed. I know next to nothing about detailing, so maybe I get some help along the way out of this forum. Seems my search for what to do keeps bringing me back to here, so I decided to sign up. The car has a lot of black paint and a lot of neglect.
