So...pros...where should I start on this car?

Here's my 2007 Brilliant Black Charger--looks great from a distance, but as you can see, it's swirled up pretty good. Some random scratches on there too. Nothing too deep though.

Where would you start on this? I have a PC7424XP---some Megs 105--Menzerna SIP, Menzerna Nano, and PO83RD. The pads I have are Cyan and Tangerine LC pads (both 5.5 and 4), then LC Flat 5.5 orange, white, light green, and blue.

And I have about 16 hours free this weekened to work on her!!

I've heard that the 2007 Dodge Chargers should have hard paint, so not sure where to begin. I do know I need to test out an area, but if someone had experience with one of these, I'd love to hear it!

I would use the Cyan pads 105 work a small area at a time and it will clean right up as mentioned always do a test spot first. After that hit with the Tangerine pad and the Nano .
 
My company car is a black Charger and yes, the clear is on the hard side. Orange and 105 is where I would start.
 
I would test the Menzerna SIP with a polishing pad first because if the swirls and scratches are not too deep it might remove them to your satisfaction and if it does it will finish out better than M105 with a cutting pad.

The SIP will tend to be easier to buff with and wipe off...

Whatever it doesn't remove is likely going to be deep and if it's deep enough that M105 won't remove it "safely" either then you'll be ahead of the game by starting out with something less aggressive.

It doesn't cost you anything to test since you already have the products...

I'm with Mike...I think...I'd start with the SIP and tangerine and see what happens.
 
I agree with Sip. It has a nice long working time and cuts rather well while finishing down near LSP ready. Only if that doesn't work wouls I step up in aggressiveness. Just because you hear the same color is hard or soft on another vehicle doesn't mean that it is the case for the one you are working on.
 
I ended up trying SIP on an orange pad and still had some swirls. Same results with a section of SIP with a cyan pad. I ended up doing the hood, then, with 105 with an orange pad, followed by Nano with a white pad, and it was perfect. I went ahead and followed that with the 85rd on a blue finishing pad. Paint was like a mirror...flawless. I couldn't believe the amount of metallics in the paint! I'm going to do the rest of the car Friday, and I'll post all the completed pics then. Thanks for the help!!
