Ok so my girl bought me a pc, but didnt buy a bundled package with all of the pads, polishes because she didnt know what I wanted or needed. Although she did give me 100$ gift certificate to autogeek.

I drive a 06 RSX type S pearl white. What would be the best products to purchase to use with my new PC? The car has slight swirl marks from the previous owner. So I would like to remove those and keep it polished and sealed all year round. I live in Mississippi so we dont have to deal with any snow/ salt.

Thanks for all of your help and feedback in advance.

I would say:

Menz PowerFinish
Menz 106fa OR 85rd

Pads:
4x 5.5" LC white (or green course if they are still aval)
4x 5.5" LC blue

Or you can go with the LC Hydrotech pads (on sale now) and get 4x of the blue and orange (forgot names, but dont need the red one right now)

That should be a good start for you.

Sealant: go with Ultima paint guard as it is on sale now.

jdouglas,

My girl got me a PC 7424 xp for my Metallic Black TL Type S that has swirl marks as well.....too funny.

agpatel,

Why Menz products? I heard that Pinnacle's products work best for metallic colors like Acura's. Is this true?

I find menzerna polishes better than pinnacle's polishes. Now Pinnacle wax's do look good on metallic (such as ssII)

menzerna are top class polishes on your softer acura paint power finish is a good start to take care of most things and refine with 85rd.

From there you can experiment with other combos but I think that is a good start.

Powerfinish has the same (almost) of menzeran super intensive polish but finishes much better (almost as good at 106fa)

Thanks guys, I ended up picking up the wolfgang totalswirl remover and 2 of their other polishes It was a little cheaper. If this doesnt come out great I will try something different.

The M105/M205 combo would have been even cheaper and just as good if not better. I just don't like all the dust that M105 leaves.
