So that I have this straight......

Now that we have the polish, glaze, wax procedure clear, I think I'll add another confusing question (for me, at least). Where does a sealant fit in? before or after the glaze. and, does it make a difference whether using a glaze or sealant, or both?
Sorry if this might be a thread hijack, just thought it might be related.

The way I interpret this when reading this whole thread is....you polish, apply sealant, then wax. The polish eliminates the need for a glaze with fillers as it will eliminate swirls, the sealant/wax combination eliminates the need for the glaze as they add more shine and depth. Are those statements are correct?

Or is a glaze used to eliminate the need for the polish if someone doesn't want to use a PC to get out swirls, instead uses a glaze to fill them? Is that true, if yes, then a sealant cannot be applied anymore, you would just go to wax?

Whew.........I'm giving myself a headache........LOL

he he he, I feel your "pain". I was happy with the polish, sealant, wax procedure until I bought the XMT kit. That kit came with a GLAZE!!! So, now what do I do? I've been very happy with WGDG Sealant and Liquid Souveran, but if the Glaze would make it even better, I'm all for it. Question is where does the glaze fit in, if at all?

Replace the sealant with the glaze. So it's polish, glaze, wax. Gives it a wetter look. Give it a try in the Spring. See which you like better. I also have the XMT kit. Polished, used the glaze and then waxed with PB Nattys. Gave the SUV a deeper, wet look. Removed it all later and tried PB EX-P sealant and PB Natty's wax. The color was not as deep, but it looked shinier, and not as "wet". Personally, I liked the shinier look on my gray SUV. So that's what's on her now.....2 coats EX-P, 2 coats PB Natty's.
