So where does everyone store their detailing products?

So, as the title says.... where? Me? I keep mind in my closet on a 4 Shelf! That way, the chemicals and products are receiving room temp instead of becoming too hot or cold to where the chemicals separate. Anyone else?

If I have around $500 invested in fine products.... why would I leave them in the garage?

if the product is an emulsion, then it stays inside the house, esp during the winter. otherwise, i have no problem keeping non-emulsions in my garage station year 'round.

Waxes, sealants and polishes stay in the laundry room year round. All other tools and towels stay in the garage year round.

I now have more items than I have space in both the laundry room and in the garage. Sears has all of the upright cabinets on sale this month in the latest Craftsman Club flyer. I will probably purchase one as long as I can figure out where to put it in the garage.

I recommend the Professional cabinet that's on sale for $279. The holes in the side provide lots of room to hang stuff.

**BIG** box, two-person job unloading it at home.

I have a large laundry room with lots of cabinet space. I keep all of my detailing supplies in there with the exception for my polishers and lighting which I keep the garage. I don’t like to keep my chemicals in the garage during the hot summer months in south Florida..

That in-the-door storage looks awsome I have to go check that out at Sears!

ive got a pic of my recent investment that needs to be on this thread......

All chemical based products, everything except towels and brushes, stays in the basement in sealed plastic bags and/or tubs.

I keep waxes and sealants inside the rest i leave in shed

I have this commercial-type rack with three shelves sitting in my garage. I can adjust the height of the shelves and add more shelves if I want. It's big and ugly, but it holds tons of stuff and nothing happens if I spill some product on it. Microfiber towels, applicator pads, wash mitts, brushes, etc. are kept in these plastic storage bin things, and my polishing pads are kept in a DeWalt tool bag. The garage is heated to room temperature so during the winter, my products are still well-stored.

Any spare items, such as just-washed microfibers and applicators, extra brushes and such are stored in my closet in my bedroom.

I have a detailing closet my wife let me keep :D.

Same here. It's a closet in the garage. It was full of Christmas decorations. I had to put an attic ladder in the garage, move the decorations, inherit the closet.

I tried to take my wifes closet once .... still gotta lump ! I stick to the garage now, plus they make some nifty bins, shelves, and cabinets that work perfectly in "my" garage.
