I have been using meguiar's gold class soap but I got a sample of pinnacle body work shampoo and that worked really good and other soaps that are good?

A lot of people like the Chemical Guys soaps. Another popular one is the DuraGloss wash.

Both are great choices. In my last order I got a bottle of Chemical Guys MR PINK and DuraGloss #901. I've tried them both, and I give the nod to the DG. It has a little more lubricity and seemed a little more concentrated. But both a very good soaps.

Citrus wash and gloss is a big player around here, also snow foam if using a foam cannon.

Chemical Guys Maxi Suds, bang for your buck.
Produces a lot of suds, smells good too. :dblthumb2:

Einszett Exclusiv ..... trust me, its a hidden wonder. Just plain GOOD CLEANING AND NO RESIDUE.

What soaps are good to remove waxes and glazes and such?
I know CG citrus was does that, but its not available online.

Not available online? It's right here:

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash Red

As for normal 2 bucket wash, I use DG 901 (902 is the gallon size). Sheets off real nice after final flood. Only need about a capful per gallon, which is probably 1/4 oz. I use an ounce or so for 3-4 gallons.

Oh nice. Their YouTube said it was only in their retail outlet.

I almost exclusively use Meguiars Gold Class. Do different soap brands really make that big of a difference?

Easily noticeable difference between shampoos such as Meg's Gold Class, CG Honeydew Snow Foam, 1Z Exclusiv Gloss, all are great choices too.

I'm with Killerwheels on this one, 1Z exclusiv is wonderful maintenance wash, I like CG HDSF for when the car's really dirty or I'm stripping, but the smell alone from Exclusiv Gloss makes it worth a try. It's also much thinner than CG HDSF, Exclusiv Gloss flows out of the bottle into your bucket/cap/measuring cup, CG HDSF is like working with molasses, not that it's a bad thing, it suds up better than any of the aforementioned and clings better too, but I've noticed it's a bit more difficult to rinse off than Meg's GC or 1Z Exclusiv.
