Soft paint 66 Mustang?

So this is my dads car and we just finished building it. It been painted a couple years back. The paint is realy soft like if you run with your hand It scratches. Will c-quarts stop this from happening? Also what Ipa percent is the alcohol?

Not sure about c-quarts, should help some. Here's some info for IPA.

a good coating may mar less but most importantly you will not be marring the cc that you have. so in essence the coating will take the abuse. get the car all prepped and coat away ! for prep you can use eraser to have that finish ready to coat , especially if you are using a Carpro coating.
