When I search this, my answers are all over the map... So if anyone has any linkies that would help!

So I will be buying my Flex this week, and notice autogeek offers many combo's... I've been using all Adam's/Chemical guy products, but I'm looking more into Megs/XMT...

with that...

AGO offers the flex with megs 105/205 and "softbuff" pads... How are those much different then buying regular foam pads?

Those are "regular" foam pads, they just don't seem to be as popular as the Lake Country pads. I personally really like the LC HydroTech 6.5" pads on my Flex.

Thanks for the quick response! Looking into those now!

Although Meguiar's originated foam buffing pads, the original SoftBuffs left something to be desired as far as the velcro, so most people had switched to other brands. I've never used the SoftBuff 2.0's, but from what I understand they are every bit as good as other pads, just that people tend to pass over them because of previous troubles.
