Solution Finish to the rescue

Finally had some time to pull off the windshield cowl on my GTO and restore it using Solution Finish.

Prepped it with APC and some IPA. I then applied it with a black foam brush. After letting it sit a few minutes I wipped off the residue. Very happy with the results.










 
That does look good. In two or three weeks (depending on other things I have to do) I have to replace the windshield washer spray nozzles on my Nissan Frontier. In order to do it I have to remove the cowl. I just bought some Solution Finish and plan on doing mine. It is going to need some serious scrubbing to get rid of all the oxidation. It should make a serious difference, especially considering that mine looks almost white.
 
That stuff really good I used this on my sun roof gasket and so far it been black for over 1yr...
 
Justin - how is the cowling (or anything else) you've done with Solution Finish holding up?

Thanks for bumping this up. The cowling has held up great. After curing for a bit the cowl has a nice matte sheen. Compared to the dull grayish look before I am pleased with the results. So far it's been about 3months.
