Solution Finish vrs Tuff Shine Black Restore Test

If Solution Finish is only going to last you a few weeks, to me it would make more sense to use something like WETS or UTTG, which would be easier to apply and likely more economical.

Well put. I wonder what kind of durability others are seeing.

SF is pretty easy to apply. Just as easy as a dressing for me. Maybe I'll use the rest of my SF and try one of those products. I think these products don't last me long because I drive through "the woods" to get to work. You can see all the dirt that gets on them if it rains once in the first pic.

I've got some SF on a few pieces of trim on my truck still going strong after 7 months. Yet, on the door handles (which are a different kind of plastic) the SF seemed to fade away much faster than I have previously experienced.

Each one of these seems to only work well on certain plastics. I guess the industry is not sophisticated enough to distinguish this, so its primarily trial and error.

While a dressing will make any plastic look good, after one wash its pretty much gone.

The TSBR ended up being a bust. It ended up flaking off of everything I applied it to, which looked terrible. It worked better on some plastics better than others. I still have the stuff though.

I've since moved on to DLux.
