Hello Autogeeks!

I have a few questions that maybe some of you could help me with.

Recently picked up a new to me car, 2018 model with 5k miles. Known manufacturer of soft paint. Appears to have been garaged kept. Paint in excellent condition other then slight swirling. Its my daily driver. No garage, so its outdoors 24/7. I am not looking to have a pro coating or anything that would keep me from my therapy (detailing the ride)

Over the last few months I have done the following to the paint:

Day1)
Carpro reset
Adams Iron remover
Chemical guys clay and lube
TW Ceramic polish and wax by hand (little improvement with the swirls as I had expected)
Carpro reset
TW Hybrid ceramic spray (2 coats 24 hour apart)

Weekly)
Carpro reset
TW wet wax as a drying aid and any benefits
Carpor reload

I have been happy with the results. However I do miss putting a coat of hand wax on a car and the slippery feel of the paint afterwards. I know, don’t touch the paint!! Are there any issues with what I am doing at this point? Would a meguires wax be ok to throw in the mix from time to time? Any thoughts, tips etc would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and hopefully by spring 2022 I’ll be ready to do a real polish vs hand.

I'm relatively new to car detailing but i find reload cut 1:1 with water leaves a slick surface. Claying is the not so secret of a slick surface in my reading and experience. Carpro's ech20 cut 20:1 which i have used more leaves a slick surface for sure. I just been using reload to top my high solid coatings after i apply them this season, for me. Love the little 100ml spray bottle though.

Think i might even dump the little bit of polish angels high gloss in the 100ml bottle to use up the last 20-30ml. The sprayer head on the high gloss bottle i have is crap. Its fine for cheap stuff but geez i wasted so much of the money i spent on high gloss trying to get a decent spray pattern. Its silly frankly. But to be fair the rapidwaxx bottle i have works nicely with about a 180 degree turn. But i also had to figure that out.

Soap box off. :D
