Had a pretty rough customer detail in today. Had about 5 hours in it. Thought id share. I only did 2 cars today. The first is a 2010 Chrysler 300c Sport. This is basically what the dealer usually has me do no paint correction just clean wax and out the door.

This car was "detailed" and put on the lot by the previous "detailer". Look what he missed! (Thats not my dealers logo)...

If you look closely at the picture you can also see yet another dealer logo in the paint. Heres the condition of the paint its pretty rough

Got it all cleaned up waxed and re-prepared for sale. Spent around 3 hrs on it. I think it turned out pretty good! Hope this helps it sell quick!

Now on to the nightmare. This this was nasty! It was covered in fallout and tar and the interior was terrible.
Looks like this car hasnt been cleaned in a while. Hard to tell the severity from the pics.

I get it all washed clayed and start to work on the interior. I look up and I see this in the back.

Hope you enjoyed! I know I did! Lol

Underhood I use a spray acrylic coating spray on the black plastic let it dry and wipe to perfection. For the tires im mot sure what it is. I get it from malco and its super siliconey but makes a great wet long lasting finish

Geez, could those cars get any dirtier? Excellent work getting them all cleaned up for sure.

How long did it take you on that white mess? What process to clean that marker off the headliner? Nice work! Hope they paid dearly and tipped!

Great turnarounds. Are they paying you good for your services?

Great work! :xyxthumbs:

Are those before / after engine bay shots of the same car? They look different...

Looks like the engine cover plates were removed for cleaning in the first pic. Then reinstalled in the second pic.

Oh ok, you're probably right. :xyxthumbs:

Yep thats correct! I removed the engine cover. Cleaned and detailed everything underneath. Then cleaned the cover and reinstalled. I spent about 5 hrs on the white mess of a car.

For the marker I first tried a small test spot to make sure it woked and wasnt going to stain. I used my leather cleaner from malco and a toothbrush and scrubbed away. I let the cleaner soak into the marker for at least a minute to help loosen it up.
The dealer I work for is really good to me and they appreciate all my hard work and yes they sure do pay me well :) They are fully aware that a guy like me doesnt come around very often

what was your total time on that White Dodge?

Well I have about 5 hrs in it and that included: wash, clay, wheels, tires, full underhood detail, Full interior detail including shampoo, cleaning the marker from the headliner, windows and wax. I did not polish the glass. No paint correction. Hand wax with a basic liquid carnuba

I busted my rump getting it done! Im a younger guy (25) so its not terrible yet but my back aches alot! I love my job tho!
