Some detailing questions

Alright, never got around to get it done, but will be doing this tomorrow, I just have a couple questions to be on the safe side.

I just want to make sure I have these steps in the right order, never used polish or sealant in the past...

Step 1 - Meguiars D300 (If necessary, which I doubt, not much correction to do)
Step 2 - Meguiars 205 Polish (Should remove the small defects)
Step 3 - Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
Step 4 - Collinite No. 845.

Are these in the right order? I'll be doing IronX and claybar if needed, then dry the car then will be using my porter cable 7424 to apply these.

My biggest concern is what order do I use the Wolfgang paint sealant and the Collinite 845, which one first, and is there a wait time between the sealant and wax I have?

Thanks,
JP

But can I let it cure for more than 12hrs
Thanks again,
JP

After 12 hrs or so to whenever, you can top it. It can be the same day, next day, or even next week after the first wash if you want to see how the sealant looks prior to the next layer.

Thanks, it's currently curing. Is it necessary to apply a wax after the sealant? And if so what are the benefits? I'm still planing on applying a coat of wax, just curious atm.

It is not necessary to apply a wax over the sealant. The wax can provide additional protection and also provide a slightly different look.

This is why I suggested wait until the next wash then wax and then decide if you like the difference. Then you can decide for yourself. Each paint seems to react slightly differently to light so one product may not be the answer. But some just like one product on everything to keep things simple. Personal preference.
