I had decided to try DG105. I was looking for a LSP that had prolonged durability. I tried it on my wife's car 2wks ago and my car last week.

My wife's car is metallic mica color, lots of flakes to pop. It left a nice mirror finish on her car, but muted the flakes, which I was disappointed in. Again I'm looking for prolonged durability so I can always follow up on the next wash with a DGPS booster.

2 wks ago I used some WG clay, then applied 601 then 501 to my car, which is black. Wow!! What a deep pool of onyx look. 501 adds a lot of depth to solid colors. The only sad part was is that it started to rain about 10 minutes after I was finished. I hope that didn't completely wipe out the durability of 501. Any thoughts on that?

Anyway here are some pics from my phone. Justice isn't done with these photo's

Your car looks very glossy! Great job!! Duragloss makes some quality products at great prices.

Both cars look amazing. I used the 501/105 combo on my sisters orange metallic car and it looked amazing.

Your car looks great! Sorry you had a bad experience. I've personally never experienced flake muting but that doesn't mean it can't happen. DG 501 really does make flake pop though!!!

Looks great! I'd suggest topping it with Aqua Wax. I always find AW to make to flake jump. Try it and let me know if that works for you pls.

Very surprised the flakes are like that, nice shine on it though!

Thanks guys!

I love AW, it's always been one of my favorites. I was thinking of applying some after the 105 on my wife's car, but I was afraid I would remove some of the 105.

With my last order, picked up a bottle of Nanoskin Hydro Express Hydrophobic Spray. I'm dying to try this stuff. I think on the next round of washes I'll see how this looks and stands up against water on our cars.

Aquawax will not remove any Duragloss sealant. I use Rain Repel on the outside glass to clean then top with Aquawax.

One thing I am worried about, is that I the 105 got wet soon after application and removal does it null the durability?

The best bang for the buck on any sealant out there. I can't think of a sealant that combines better looks and longer protection.

What Collinite is to waxes with its price, looks, and longevity Duragloss is to sealants!
