Well, good news is, I got my school all paid for, and ordered one of my books through Amazon today. Bad news, I saw a PC for $118, and pounced on it like a malnourished lion on a fresh steak. Worse news...no pads yet. Hope Meghan considers LC pads for bogo next Friday....for my sorry-sake! Im the MAN

Congrats on having school paid for and especially for getting a PC! :props:

Thanks, Jim. Just not looking farward to paying back the student loans next year...

An open question to anyone, if I am planning to use 5.5" pads, do I just need the LC 5" backing plate? Or do I also need some sort of counterweight?

Good for you, Ted! A lot of folks don't even bother with doing that.

BTW...What's your major? What's your plans upon graduation?

Sincere good wishes to you as your new term begins.

forget about pads, go with the DA system from meguiars

My major now is general business, but I may go back after I'm finished with this degree and get another in management, or I may just go straight to the management Masters. I dunno yet. That's a whole year and a couple months down the road.

But once I get the bachelors in general business, I will be looking for better work. I'd hope by then I could at least get out of fast food and get an Asst. Manager job somewhere. I dunno. Just depends on how much management experience I can rack up till then.

Congratulations on school. I need to pay for my school as well! Keep up the hard work and it will pay off!
Enjoy the PC. I love those things, they are built like a tank. Dropped mine from the roof of our RV when my niece accidentaly pulled the chord. It still worked!!

Congrats on school! I will be doing the same thing. Just do what my sister is doing...keep going to school and you won't have to pay your student loans. As long as you're enrolled you loans get deferred. I've been trying ot finish up school for the past 10 years. I've procrastinated long enough. Its time for me to get that piece of paper that say I'm somebody, to someone else.

I know what you guys mean...I still take a class here and there as many as money and time allows...one day I'll have a degree, but in the mean time, back to the grinder :)

as long as you're working towards your goal. My procrastinating ash took a few years off and now I'm paying for it.
