Note the oxidation up by the passenger side tailight

Here we go folks. Are you ready for this?... The car paint looks much darker/deeper than it has in the past
738car_001-med.jpg

Now all the metallic flake in the paint "pops" a little bit too. Here's my point...picture with flash
738car_005-med.jpg

Picture without flash taken from same angle within seconds of the first
738car_006-med.jpg

That oxidation from the first picture?????Gone now...here's a higher res shot just so we can make sure.

Autogeek.net Grit gard (You should have bought one like,basically....yesterday, awesome product)
Microfiber cloths, lots of different ones ( i used roughly 30 in all to prevent cross product contamination)
Eagle one Wet Tire Shine (damnit, it's a dressing and it's what I have available)
Mothers Back to Black Trim/bumper Restore (use it with your finger or with a small fine too nylon brush)
Pinnacle XMT 1
Pinnacle XMT 3
Pinnacle XMT Glaze (smells like grapes and I love it to death)
Pinnacle Pad conditioner and Pinnacle pad cleaner
P21s Wax (awesome #### if you don't have it you should buy, now!...immediately, works almost as good as the 70 dollar pinnacle sov. and goes on and off like a lightswitch, or you can pay me to do it for you)
3m Machine Polish
3m Swirl Mark Remover (for dark colored vehicles)
Stoner Invisible Glass (if you use something else you're not being an intelligent consumer)
Mother's Aluminum polish
Random brushes ( i advise all of you to buy every non-marring detail brush you can get your hands on)
Porter Cable 7424 with 5.5 hook/loop Xtreme backing plate
Lake Country CCS pads 6 inch (used yellow briefly (cuts too hard), orange, white, black and blue. Also Lake Country lambs wool leveling pad and Lake country microfiber 6 inch mits for 7424

Fidanza Flywheel 9 lb Flywheel
Clutchmasters stage III clutch
RR-Racing Motor/tranny mounts
KYB Struts
Eibach Springs (I think?)
Some kind of light weight racing wheels (why list any non-go fast ####? it has a lot of other mods (way too many to list) that have nothing to do with getting tickets/thrown in jail)
Here's some pics..
Before...

Here's what we used on wheels today (ignore the stoner invisible glass)
738DSC00008.JPG

Lettin the wheel soak before the wipe down/rinse
738DSC00007.JPG

After the wash... After the rim cleaning/prepping/waxing, and after the dressings
738DSC00009.JPG

Here's the dirty (before) pic just for reference
738DSC00001.JPG

So then I pulled her in (pgt) so that she could be clayed and polished/glazed/waxed
738DSC00014-med.JPG

She looks kinda ehhh here. Lots of neglected paint over the years (spiderwebs, micromarring and hairline scrathing from improper washing/drying technique) and from not being driven (damint keith put some miles on her)
738DSC00018-med.JPG

Stage I clay and diagnosis
738DSC00016-med.JPG

Stage II Hit the ##### with everything you deem necessary
738DSC00020-med.JPG

Results...
738DSC00022-med.JPG

Unfortunately I don't have any pre-buff pics that turned out...this car was assembled in 1992 (1993 model year) See any swirls? I got rid of them.
738DSC00025-med.JPG

This picture is just for Jonny ( do you use an H or not?)
738DSC00024.JPG

Some randoms of the sexiness...

I wasn't real sure where I was supposed to post all of this stuff. I'm pretty much a newb to this board. So, if I messed something up or did something wrong let me know

On a side note. How much do you think I should be charging for a detail such as the one above? Wash, dress, clay, minor paint correction (i don't want to spend more than 10 hours on a car), polish, glaze, wax...Exterior only. There's not much money in my market...what's a good starting figure (ballpark)?.. It is a side job weekend type thing.

Such nice work, a very nice detail. Thanks for going into detail as well with plenty of pics.

PS: let's see some more of the Audi!!!
