I used to race 50's (mini dirtbikes AKA mini's on steriods) about 4 years ago. I went to Vegas and did the Mini-Moto Championship along with a few others. The pitbike whole scene has grown up to be way bigger than I ever thought. Big guys and little bikes, everyones like huh??? Trust me bar to bar race (wideopen) and cramped up it's just ... Fun
Matter of fact here is the old bike I raced.

Try not to center all of your subjects. There is a rule called "the rule of thirds" in photograpy. Try to put the subject in a third of the shot. Similar to shot #4. This will draw more attention to the main subject. When shooting actions shots like the bike jumpers, try panning the camera. Follow the subject with the camera and then shoot. This will blur the background and give you a feeling of speed and motion. I hope you don't mind my suggestions. I have been shooting for many years and it is a wonderful hobby and can be profitable. Don't forget you are shooting digital and you can always delete the bad shots and try again!
