I got a few of these and wanted to show a quick comparison. When I actually use these, I will give a review of their performance.

They feel really nice and soft. The edges are very nice quality and these things have some serious weight to them. A very quality feel to these towels.

First: Some Gold Plush Jr's. They are about double the weight of these.

Secondly: some rolled edged MF's. Again about double the weight.

And with the folded edge facing the Chinchilla:

Thanks for looking!

Great review!!!! Bravo!!!! Encore!!!!! :D Hey how'd I get in the background??? I'm famous now!

I just got 2 chinchillas in with my veterans day order. I can see them quickly becoming my favorite towel, its so different than any other microfiber I have!

When i first read the title i was expecting to see a small furry animal.

Thanks for the pics doc! Can't wait to hear what you think of them!

Chinchilla ones look more like a MF wash mitt than a towel to me.I'll take the blue ones on the left with rolled edges.

Huge ones bunch up too much and don't work as good. The blue/green ones with rolled edges are awesome towels IMO.

Just my 2 cents.

They look nice. While they may not be practice for every job I'm sure they will be great for certain applications.

Great pics Doc, thanks for sharing them!

BTW: This looks familiar...:props:

Wow...looks like an amazing towel. Can't wait to give mine a try :)

Doc!!!! Sweet pics and I can't wait to hear your take on their performance!

I have had a chance to use these a bit now. I am seriously hoping that they come off Backorder soon.

These towels do NOT mar even the softest of paints. The edges are soft and I also haven't seen any marring from them. I have seen and heard of some concerns of them bunching up or rolling up......not the case. The towels are so heavy that this does not happen I have rolled edged and Gold Plush Jr's and they have much more tendency than the Chinchillas to roll up on themselves. Linting is non-existant thus far but I would say that I have only 6 or so washes on them at the current time.

I really like these towels for a final wipe. They are just so thick and distribute the pressure from your hand evenly. They also do a great job at extracting the last bit of gloss out of any wax or sealant when used in this manner.

I have used them for spray waxes and QD's and prefer them as my second or dry towel for a buffing towel if you will.

One of the best uses for these towels are both WW's and Rinseless washes. The deep pile helps swallow up dirt and debris to keep it off of your paint.

All said and done, I think these are a great towel and if you are looking for a super thick, plush towel that these will be your best friend, besides the fact that they make a great pillow;)

Maybe AG will put them on BOGO since we have had to wait so long for them to come off back order :awesome:

Thanks for the review too. I have been wanting to try these but they have been on back order so long.

BOGO would be sweet! Nick says they are due in shortly.....(Waiting patiently*)

We used them on this car...

The Chinchilla Microfiber Towels are extra thick, when you fold them 4-ways the plush cushion conforms to the curve of your car's body panels to help you remove any trace residues...

I wanted to order some more, but they've been out of stock for the last 4 or so orders I've placed...
