Washed my truck last Sunday and the truck was near flawless with the exception of a chip on my hood and one on the door. I didn't drive it all week except for Friday and everything was fine. Yesterday I went to the movies and when I got home I saw a "spot on my front bumper and at first I thought it was just dirty because it just looked dull. On closer inspection it's a scuff/scrape. I have Xpel on the bumper so only the film was damaged. The film did it's job and protected the paint from damage. The film just has gouges and scuff marks on it

I think someone pulling out of the space across from me must have bumped the corner. What gets me upset is they don't even leave a note. Complete lack of respect for other peoples property. I've never hit someone but if I did I would at least leave my business card with a note
 
Sorry to hear this. I was sitting in the car at a store waiting for the wife and a women pulled in beside me, and Wham flings her door open into the side of the car. I hop out and ask her why she did that, she said, I did not hit your car. People like that, you just want to pinch thier head off.
 
That sucks!!! I hate non drivers and I really hate dishonest ones.
 
Man that sucks... I had the same thing happen to my truck a while back; there's a big gouge in the chrome on the back bumper that I'll have to eventually deal with.
 
It's a shame. A lot of us put a lot of time into our cars to make them look nice or keep them up and someone that doesn't care comes along and takes only a few seconds to cause damage.

When I wash the truck this evening I'm going to close my eyes when I get to that area. It will take a day or two before I can look at it and not feel a little irritated
 
It sucks, people just don't care. Around here they bump cars while parallel parking all the time, like its standard operating procedure.
 
sadly true. PEOPLE DONT CARE. we all take care of our rides here, and it sucks when this happens.
 
Dang man I'm sorry to hear this. I hate it when people say "its just a car"....ummm I've worked damn hard for this car.
