I just wanted to say hello, and tell all a bit about myself. I live in NW Montana and I come by way of this forum in a search for Klasse. I have about 7 years detailing experiance in all from owning a boat detailing business in SoCal to detailing cars up here in MT.

I have taken a hiatus from detailing for a few years, though I am back now. Some things have changed since I have been away, and some haven't. This forum is a nice thing to have access to, and thanks to those that mod and admin it.

I'll prolly have a number of questions, as well as a few tidbits of what I have learned if I can help.

So , hello to all, and thanks for the help, in advance.

Randy

Since you all like pictures here, I have attached a couple of pics of a friend's truck I polished today. I used the UDM with a white pad and some Mother's cleaner wax. The difference was amazing, even coming from a detailing background. The paint was two years old, and the truck rarely gets driven, but after claying it and getting the tar off, the paint looked pretty good. But after I was done, it was as close to a mirror as it ever has been.
The finished product unfortunately did show all of the glitches in the paint job, as it wasn't the best, but it still looked great, as long as you don't look too close. The sun shining off of the hood made it a little hard to drive at one point as the sun was getting a little low on the horizon.

No before pictures, sorry. I didn't think that far in advance...

The paint looked pretty good before I started, that is until I was done. The after made the before look dull. If that makes any sense?

I know what you mean! I had dull paint on my roof and used some XMT 3 with orange CCS pad on it and it's back to shining again :)

:welcome: and nice job on the truck! Thanks for the pics!

Welcome to AG. What year is that truck? You did a nice job on it.
