This is a horse trailer that one of my regular (other job) customers owns and is planning on selling. I believe she said she remembers buying it new in 1993. I think it cleaned up pretty well for how old it is. Not perfect, but much better.

I cleaned the whole trailer inside and out. The inside was scrubbed down floor to roof, mats were pulled scrubbed, and dressed, and the vinyl bumper pads were cleaned and dressed.

Thr exterior was given an acid wash including the roof, working bottom to top, then followed with an caustic wash to remove the remaining grime. Wheels and tires were cleaned then lightly dressed. Then for the fun of it, I did a light polishing of the aluminum.

It took about 8 hours, not including breaks and stopping to eat the nice lunch she had made me.

Acid - OTC acid wheel cleaner diluted 1:1
APC - DP High Intensity APC Plus 4:1
Degreaser - OTC citrus based degreaser
Soap - Meguirs Gold Class
Vinyl and rubber dressing - DP Trim Detailer and the last of my ArmorAll
Aluminum Polish - Zepher Pro40
Pad for Aluminum - LC 5.5" Flat Pad White
And my trusty Rupes Duetto

What a fine looking trailer, does not even show a bit of its age, fantastic work, Ed the horse will certainly be pleased

Um, pardon me for asking, you said you cleaned the inside...hay and horse manure?

Nice job love those things nice money.

Just a little hay and saw dust, and a little ground in manure on the mats. I blew what I could out with my ShopVac blower. Just presoaked the mats, then scrubbed, and rinsed.

The inside was probably cleaner than most of the regular interior jobs I do. ;)
