The owner requested that it was not online so I have to shoot a new machine application video.A few questions I hope Drew or someone who knows could answer.
- What happened to the machine application video? It says video not found.
- Is using a qd or waterless wash for removal going to affect durability or beading quality? The hand application video mentions removal without a qd to not affect beading for the test.
- What cure time is there after buffing off where it can be exposed to elements or layered without compromising the coating? Is layering going to help durability or looks at all with this product or is one layer all you need?
- Is this stuff going to protect plastic trim and can be used instead of plastic specific protectant? Black textured plastic and clear such as headlights and taillights are what I'm thinking of.
- I assume wheels are going to get to hot to last long with this product?
Thanks!
A quality QD or similar product should do nothing but slightly boost the product. I don't use it in videos to eliminate any discrepancies viewers may have.
Carnaubavore and Merry Waxmas can be used wipe on wipe off but depending on your climate, temp humidity etc I recommend leaving 5-15 minutes (I usually leave 10 minutes or so)
Merry Waxmas was designed to be layered however each wax can be used standalone as well, I discuss this in this video

Carnaubavore can be layered as well but does not need to be by any means.
Do not apply these waxes to plastic as I did some early testing but they are not designed to protect plastic.
I have not tested Merry Waxmas on wheels however Carnaubavore works well on wheels, give it a try
