Wow! is what I said as I filled one of my two buckets with two Professional Grit Guard, grit guard insert, car wash grid one in each, as the suds began to overwhelm
This became my favorite soap after that wash, it's extremely concentrated, one cap full (which is a small cap) produced immense suds for 6+ gallons, it produced a high lubricity solution which is ideal for maintaining a swirl free finish, the gloss it leaves afterwards is similar to a "just waxed" finish and this gloss lasted a week or so for me, which is quite long for just a car wash soap to leave and this is on my daily driven vehicle garaged outdoors 24/7.

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss 16 oz.

and just for fun.. (click below picture to play video)

Detailer's Pro Series Quart Foamaster Foam Gun, foam wash gun, DP foam master

This soap can also be used to strip LSPs, although I suggest citrus wash and clear for that purpose due to that fact that it is supposed to leave "nothing" behind leaving the ultimate bare paint surface ready for a new lsp :xyxthumbs:
Note this was just a quick review, nick 1up'd me with a more in depth and better review lol

Just to update this, this is still my favorite soap and first recommended, it's an awesome soap, incredible bang for buck, great cleansing power, versatile with abilities to safely strip wax and sealants (if desired and used at the higher ratio)
its brother citrus wash and clear is my personal favorite, as it provides a bare finish that if any of you know me, know I'm waxing! lol however just breaking into the chemical guys soap line I would recommend the gloss over clear

So how much do you recommend to use without stripping the wax ?

And what's the difference between citrus wash clear vs citrus wash red ?

for wash and gloss its 1 oz soap per gallon to strip, for regular wash.. just a cap of the soap, hardly anything, super concentrated, wash and clear iirc is 2 oz per gallon for strip, and just a cap for regular wash
wash red i've only ever seen at AG, and iirc the dilutions are a bit different on it, I've never used it so I couldn't tell you
Can't wait to try it with a foam gun!
you'll love it :D

^ awesome. I will give it a shot one of these days

sounds great! let me know how you like it

strip washed early this month with wash and gloss, still my favorite soap to date by far :xyxthumbs:

Don't laugh, but I've been using CW&G with the ducky foamer to maintain my wheels. It does a really terrific job!

no using car wash in a spray bottle for wheel cleaning is a great idea, I've done it before and with no ill effects, what ratio are you using?

I've been playing around (started @ 1oz and work my way down). As of now it looks like 1/4oz into the ducky is quite capable of tackling a lite/medium 5-day build up. Anything heavier then I'd bust out APC+.

you should make a writeup on it when you get a chance :xyxthumbs:
am I the only one that thinks apcs dont provide enough lubricity for wheel cleaning? brake dust is the most abrasive thing we typically deal with
not bashing you, just inquiring as using apc for wheel cleaning seems pretty common now

Hey, thanks. I'm going to the local art supply later today to pick up a few items for my ghetto studio set up. Time to contribute! :xyxthumbs:

And why you gotta bash me yo. Lol. I'm joking, of course. No, that's an excellent point! I'm not too worried about marring as both my calipers and wheels are powdercoated. To be honest, even with OEM finishing, I've never give it that much thought. My concerns have always been the dreaded curve & pitting from debris. You've raised an interesting question and I have to say I hated it. My OCD is bad enough as it is...

*shakes fist*

I still find the 1 cap full isn't enough soap. It doesn't feel like there is enough lubricity and I can barely cover two windows before I get the spots that come with not enough soap in the mitt. About four or five cap fulls (the standard cap that comes on the 16oz bottle) is where I like it, with no noticeable dent in wax durability.

How do you like that foamaster gun? No way I'm going to go all out with a pressure washer gun, but if the foamaster attached to a hose is decent I'd probably buy it. And does it work better with other cg shampoos like mr pink or honeydew snow foam?

understandable! on a ton of the mustangs they go with a gloss black finish and you can accumulate swirls galore on them, so they've made me a bit mindful! lol keep me posting on your diluted wash wheel cleaner, I need to play around with it more as well :xyxthumbs:

do you have hard water? thats odd you say that, as I've used several bottles of this with zero issues, it's a phenomenal product, also surprised your wax isn't degrading at that ratio

in the recent pictures I posted thats just suds from the mitts, as for the foam gun I liked it, its more fun than it is useful honestly, I only used it with gold class, another megs soap, wash and gloss, and wash and clear, wash+gloss and wash+clear performed pretty well out of it, much better than gold class, if you have a pressure washer I would definitely recommend the foam cannon over the gun, however it still is a good product and it's worth picking up if you're interested in it

wow thanks for the review. i want to try this soap but im afraid ill end up stripping the glaze sealant and wax i just put on my truck. is there other washes that you would recommend?

A lil off topic...
whats the best way to keep my truck clean in between waxes?

I need to try this again.
I first used it about a year ago when I didn't know anything about waxes or stripping.

How many caps are used to not strip wax ? Also how much do you put in a foam gun to safely remove dirt and not lsp ?
