A lot of hype surrounds these products, especially black light, so here is my unbiased review of this duo

Black light, goes on easy, you let it cure for 15 and then buff off (comes off relatively easy) , smells great, sort of like grape, all in all black light is a good product, but receives more hype than it deserves.
Chemical Guys Black Light Hybrid Radiant Finish 16 oz.
V7 goes on easy, no streaks! Smells great like citrus / orange , this is what really made this duo for me, V7 produced immediate results, V7 is the product that should be getting more use and attention, great product :xyxthumbs:
Chemical Guys V7 Optical Select High Gloss Spray Sealant Detailer
With V7 goes a long way, after completing a 2003 mustang only this much was used

and finally beading action of this duo a few days later

Bottom line, give them a shot you won't be disappointed!

Ive been on the fence about getting these two but it looks like a winning combo.

I have the combo and love it. I just did an Aston Martin Rapide last week with it and the owner could not believe how nice it turned out.

I applied blacklight by machine (GG 6) on my buddies Silverado. Very nice outcome and applied Pete's 53 for added protection. A final wipedown with V7 turned this result

He was pretty happy with the result

You can get some correction out of BL when used by machine with a finishing pad. I recently used BL as an AIO and I was pleasantly surprised at the level of correction. It removed water spots and some light swirls. Topped it off with V7 and it looks amazing. Ease of use of these 2 can't be understated.

Quite a one-two punch!! I just happen to have them side by side!!:props:

it basically is a qd, so yes, you only need to clay usually 1-2 times a year if that

as for bl as an aio and machine application, I have seen some great results with it being applied on speed 4 and 6

@1511 it looks great!

I am not sure about the hype about BL. I am thrilled with it by itself. I applied via Flex 3401 on speed 2 with a finishing pad.
Great reviews today BTW:xyxthumbs:

I love Blacklight and V7. Such great products. I have used BL so far on two of my garage queens with stellar results. :xyxthumbs:

I used Blacklight and the V7 combo on this 2013 Mustang and really liked the results. Last night I put the same combo on my Black superduty and thought it looked good. What I noticed today was a higher amount of lookie-loos when driving my truck. I will be buying a gallon of the V7 (I liked it that much).

Thanks Son1c, so far we have had the same taste in products. Also to others when I ran out of wax as you dry I used it as a final wipe down after a wash and had awesome results. Helped with water beading and shedding on my Charger. Overall its worth the investment.

thanks for all of the feedback and even reviews of your own, yeah its definitely a great combo, but my favorite was by far v7 and I am contemplating a gallon as well, I'll be trying a few other similar products prior to make sure thats what I want to invest in
