Cost effective, tint safe, refreshing color, works great, whats not to like?
Window Clean by Chemical Guys is a great product, it does exactly what it is supposed to and 1 gallon of this mixes with up to 3 gallons of distilled water!

An all purpose cleaner was used t remove the residue, and then the window cleaned was used to follow up for a streak free mirror finish!
But don't just take my word for it, if you're looking for a quality window cleaner, then give Window Clean by CG a shot!

looks good to me.

on a side note, what is it with everyone using gloves for a large part of detailing? Am i the only 1 that cant work in gloves for more than 10-15 minutes at a time? After 15 minutes, my gloves are completely filled with sweat.

Haha, +1!!!

Nice work

As for gloves, I only use when polishing and cleaning wheels.

I got some of this as well. Very good stuff does its job and does it good.

Thanks guys!

As for the gloves, after reading and seeing some of the horror stories I just deal with it, if I just did my own vehicle I wouldn't but with a higher volume and increased/extended exposure to all of the chemicals -- just not worth it so now I wear nitrile gloves after the wash :xyxthumbs: it makes claying much more enjoyable too

As for cg window clean, I'm happy with it but I bought a gallon of Meg's glass cleaner, so that will be up for review next!

It turns your hands blue?:D JK

I have gotten into the habit of wearing gloves (cheaper is better), anytime I work with chemical products. I learned the hard way when I found that alot of the car care products were drying and causing rashes on my hand's. In fact if you hold onto a microfiber towel long enough it will draw moisture out of your hands. It all get's down to a personal preferences and what you think is safe.

You're not the only one....my girlfriend has suggested I wear gloves more than once. The chemicals can be a bit harsh and getting the dirt out from around my nails is annoying but I can't stand sweaty gloves and when I'm washing the water gets in there anyway.

As for gloves, its just not worth the risk of chemical damage imo, always better to be safe!
Just the other day I got paint on my hands that I cleaned off with paint thinner followed by regular hand soap. They felt really dry at first but then after a couple hours they were back to normal. I inherited my dad's hands; he was pretty rough with them but they were amazingly always baby-soft.
