The Super Plush Junior by Cobra / PBMG Microfiber Towel is the star of SON1C Synopsis 49 . This is a 75/25 blend 600 g/m

Initial thoughts, I absolutely love the color, extremely soft, silk banding, clearly of high quality.

I used these microfiber towels to waterless wash, quick detail, remove polish residue, IPA wipe-down, clean glass, buff off wax, clean wheels, exhaust tips, emblems, crevices , and more --> I mean I put these towels through the works and I must say this is hands down my favorite towel. It's not too plush, but it's super plush. Bit of a joke there, but seriously it's my ideal plushness, and the fact you can flip for a short nap is excellent in my opinion. It is very soft, but still a firm enough grip / bite, some towels are simply too soft or too plush sort of negating their abilities. This towel is seriously top notch. Only negative would be the price point, but in many cases you get what you pay for, and after hours of paint correction the last thing you'd want to do was instill any swirls/scratches/marring because you're using a sub-par microfiber towel.
Final thoughts.. Top notch!

I couldn't agree more! These and the 530's have become my "go to" towels for anything paint related. I have drawers full of "softer" towels, but like you I think they are too soft sometimes when you need a towel to perform. Nice write up and great pics! I hope someone new to the hobby reads this before they buy 5,000 different MF's.

Thanks for the review. I've been debating buying these towels. I noticed in the overrated products thread, alot of people mention cobra towels because of the price I guess.

Do you think they are worth the price though over some Korean made towels?

Nice! Ill have to add these to the collection :)
You'll enjoy them caleb :D are you making it out to the event on the 24th? I can give you one then?

I think the reason is they try one cobra towel and aren't extremely satisfied with it and toss cobra as a whole, I felt that way after trying a light blue cobra towel, I thought yeah this is a good towel but it was over rated

I also think some people and companies "hype" products up to much, so you think you'll be getting the god of microfibers when in reality you're getting a good or great microfiber but at the end of a day there is only so much performance a microfiber can bring to the table // I find this particular with drying microfibers, however the "cores" of some of the drying towels can make a huge difference as opposed to one with no "core"

I would say that they are worth the price point, this towel is Korean made (fabric) but sewn in china to my understanding

I actually have the 530s on deck for some testing, my initial thoughts were they seemed of great quality but the super plush got to me and I gave them a whirl today! Also glad we're on the same page about the softer towels
What do you prefer the 530s for over the 600s?

No I wont be at the event. Ill be working. Us 757 guys need to organize a meet so yall can come down here haha! You are 4 hours away from me. It just sucks it didnt work out last time because somebody decided to get sick.

Interesting what you like about them is why mine are up for trade....the dual nap. I love the plush side of these but don't like the fact that 1/2 the towel is short nap. The more I try different towels (slightly absurd towel collection) the more I realize in 9 out of 10 cases if a towel isn't the same on both sides I won't like it just because it becomes an inconvenience requiring more towels to complete the job since only 1/2 of this one will work for certain tasks.

I really like both the purple and gray Cobra towels. I like to use the 530 gray for wiping bugs off my front bumper (which the short nap side excels at). The fact that it is a little thinner helps me "feel" the curves of the panel better. I like the 600 purple for larger panels in general.

Have you, or anyone else, noticed a difference in quality between the Supreme 530s and Super Plush 600s?

I bought some 16x24 530s about a month ago (when the 16x16 ones were on backorder), and they weren't in bad shape per say, but they had some "runs" in them and just didn't seem to be up to the quality of the Gold Plush and Miracle towels I already owned. They certainly weren't return worthy, but they were by no means perfect.

A few days later I met Wes at Pro Header Systems (where Mike hosted "Helping in the Heartland"), and he gave me a few of the 16x16 530s (out of the metric ton Mike left for him), and they felt very different from the 16x24 530s I received a few days prior. These towels felt much softer, but they also left a fair amount of lint behind. They also had a different build quality to them. Much better than the 16x24, almost like they were a different design.

Then, a couple weeks ago I received my Super Plush 600s (which had been on backorder). These towels, besides being awesome, seemed to be totally different from all the other Cobra towels. Much better build quality, much more substantial feeling, and a sticker tag that comes off easy and no longer leaves behind a bunch of residue. Also, no linting whatsoever!

It seems to me that the reason so many of the Cobra microfibers were on backorder is that maybe they were being redesigned?

Can anyone from AG confirm this theory?
