Is there a link to that video?

See if this link works. Jason of Sonax talks a little about it in this video towards the end.

Thanks Guz! A bit offtopic, but one of the advantages that I now see with Cquartz is the ability to use Ech2o to do waterless on it. Yet AFAIK, there is no Sonax alternative for it, right? They suggest using BSD as w-less wash solution, but I am not sure that it is a good idea.

People have been using different waterless washes on CQuartz before Ech2o was around, it was just recently released and formulated to be "more compatible". Having a dedicated product in the CarPro family doesn't mean it's the only coating that responds to waterless washing.

Ideally you would pick something without any kind of wax or whatever in it so that you don't interfere with the coating properties. This is where I used to use D114, which is now defunct, so I would opt for something like McKees 37 N914. It has a very economical waterless dilution... 1:128. I love Brilliane Shine Detailer and use it regularly but it seems like using that as a waterless wash would get pretty expensive.
