Sonax paint cleaner IS the bomb!

Hard to say. Both products are designed to remove light scratches.

I did 2 test spots side by side, 4 section passes each. Sonax had less swirls than the McKee's 360. Same speed, etc and Sonax had much less swirls.

I really can't say why but my guess is than Sonax probably did a better job of hiding the swirls than McKee's. Maybe if I did 6 section passes maybe McKee's would have won out. Who knows? A serious side by side test would be a good idea. I was in rush and wanted fast. Sonax won out on this project.

Continued Thanks. I'm doing a 10yr old GTI next week before it goes up for sale. Just a basic clean and protect to freshen it up. No real correction needs here. Sounds like a perfect fit for Sonax. I'm going to test it up against Speed just for giggles though.

Awesome---please post results!

I have used speed several times. And after all the work---still has some marring. And it was kind of a work out too. Dusty and dirty as well. Same with the Rupes polishes.

Absolutely zero dust and easy, easy wipe off and very clean with Sonax. Very Zen like, artsy and pleasant overall experience. I was surprised at how nice it was.

Well Tom I owe you a big thank you! I am in the middle of detailing a 2001 Carrera black and the sonax paint cleaner is a clear winner Over HD speed.

HD speed finishes out beautifully but when compared side-by-side there's a very clear demarcation line where Sonax is much clearer.

I made two videos and we'll post them in linked to them in this thread later this evening

Have you (or anyone) tried topping it with Sonax Netshield?
