SONAX Perfect finish OR Menzerna PF2500

You might just have to go for it and try some combos for yourself... there is no perfect combo for everyone.
 
Has anyone tried Scholl Concepts S17+?

Early reviews have stated that it is quite similar to PF2500, but with a shorter work time.
 
I went ahead and tried a bottle of Sonax Perfect Finish with a PC and a Rupes, and it worked well with a good work time and came off easy. It left a, literally, squeaky surface. I wiped down the surface with 30% IPA, and I could not detect a difference in appearance. Only time will tell if it has fillers.
 
I know people don't like resurrected threads where there's controversy however a few days ago Sonax released a video on their YouTube channel about Sonax Perfect Finish and it shows directly how to use it. When i coated my Brand New Tacoma last year around July, I strictly used Sonax PF. Simply because i hate using compound because it dusts like crazy, AND PF removed all the swirls and scratch on the paint.

I wiped down with Carpro Eraser 2x times, then used Gtechniq Panel wipe ONCE.

Coated with Gtech c1, topped with eco v2.

It has been at least 7 months now with the coating. The paint beads and sheet water like crazy, nothing i have ever seen before. It is simply amazing.

Assuming it beads and sheet, i believe the coating is intact, and i have not seen any degrading on the coatings surface, as it bead and sheet like when first applied.


PS: Only if i have some sort of abandon hood of a car, i'd gladly test out the PF.
Polish that hood. Clean it with some strong degreaser and see if it still looks the same
