When i coated my Brand New Tacoma last year around July, I strictly used Sonax PF. Simply because i hate using compound because it dusts like crazy, AND PF removed all the swirls and scratch on the paint.
I wiped down with Carpro Eraser 2x times, then used Gtechniq Panel wipe ONCE.
Coated with Gtech c1, topped with eco v2.
It has been at least 7 months now with the coating. The paint beads and sheet water like crazy, nothing i have ever seen before. It is simply amazing.
Assuming it beads and sheet, i believe the coating is intact, and i have not seen any degrading on the coatings surface, as it bead and sheet like when first applied.
PS: Only if i have some sort of abandon hood of a car, i'd gladly test out the PF.
Polish that hood. Clean it with some strong degreaser and see if it still looks the same
