I like to use a foam applicator when applying the Sonax Polymer Net Shield.
Sonax Polymer Net Shield, sonax polymer netshield, sonax profiline polymer netshield
Thanks for the reply. Just a regular wax applicator foam pad or something more specialized ?
Sorry about the newb questions. But this will be my first time doing paint correction and sealant on a vehicle.
I use the Sonax foam applicator. It has somewhat of a handle to help glide. Rinsed it out with orange degreaser and still works great.
SONAX Application Sponge
I use a Lake country hydro red pad attached to a nanoskin velcro strap handle to apply. Make it as easy as possible to apply PNS as I have found. The hydro pad is closed cell so you are not just waisting product and the handle makes is very comfortable. The buffing off will always be a little grabby. But the results and performance are great.
And I put PNS over all kinds of stuff will good success. I will be putting it over DG111 for the winter. While it might not last quite as long over other sealants as bare paint, I never really notice because I am usually topping with BSD every month over the winter when I get a warm day.

That's a great idea. Do you have a link or something for that velcro handle ? I have several 5.5 inch LC pads I could use for this purpose.

So I ended going with 476. I was wondering if I'm just going thru touchless car washes during thr winter months and apply measures spray wax , will apply the spray wax scratch the paint since the car isn't properly clean or is it....

I would use a waterless wash first as its made for that. But if you are just going to do the spray wax to wipe off the grime/road film....then id suggest use lots of plush towels, just as you would when using a waterless wash.
That should reduce the micromarring very minimum

Yeah if i was applying spray waxes I would do a rinseless to make sure it was clean as you can get. Touchless washes aren’t great at getting all the grime off.
If that’s the case then if something get’s lodged in your MF it may scratch or mar the paint as you are applying the wax.

Great advice here. 476 is pretty durable from what I've heard. Collinite rates it above 845, which I have used and made it all winter long with no need for any form of booster.
My advice is probably not all that popular, but in the depths of winter I'd just use the touchless car wash and live with the results. I don't even try to get my vehicles spotlessly clean this time of year. The touchless will get off the majority of the grime and salt which allows me to wait until warmer weather to do a hand wash and avoid any marring.
