Anyone ever used this? Just trying to get more info on it. Would like to add it to my services but dont know if it'd be worth it or not. Says durability is six months. I use meguiars #21 right now and am happy with that but always open to other sealants. Also wondering how many cars one can of this can do. If anyone has experience with this product and would like to share please do!

The beading is insane. There are other threads discussing this product so if you search you'll be able to find some more info. I also just posted a show n shine featuring it on a red Pontiac g8.

The only thing I disliked is that it is very grabby feeling during application, but that is a small price to pay for a very nice product.

Give it a shot, you'll like it.
 
i was given some by my supplier to try out its ok… its a bit of a pain to take off if you do large areas, so do panel at a time. it doesnt last six months i put it on my girlfriend's jeep in the fall (Nov) and theres clearly nothing left when i washed it a week ago no beading or anything, but was for the first month or so. but canadian winters can be hard on anything.
 
I've been using Netshield over WDGPS with great results! Been through 5 snowstorms on my plow truck with only a few rinse downs and one actual in depth wash. Still looks great and beads furiously! It's like water is afraid of being on the paint! Lol! Netshield is a great product! Just ordered two more cans of it! :-)

Great reflections too!
 
Awesome product. The application can be tricky. I like sonax brilliant shine detailer a little more simply because it is much easier to use and the beading is just as good.

I would agree... I actually sold my SPNS but continue to use SBSD on my wife's car on top 22ple. The beading is awesome.
 
I use it all the time you need to wipe on and wipe off. If you wait to long it will get tacky. I use it on rims all the time when people don't want to pay for opti-coat.

Small sections, 20-30 seconds, and wipe clean. Goes on easy if you do it right! Gloss increases as it cures too! :-)
 
How can we trust anything the folks at Sonax say when they advocate this:

"1. Wash the car thoroughly

Before the polishing wash the car – with SONAX Gloss shampoo concentrate, SONAX Multi sponge and water, all of the superficial grime is thoroughly removed from the car, and it is gentle on the paintwork. It penetrates and dissolves the dirt without harming the paintwork’s protective wax coating.

Important: During the wash use plenty of water and, to avoid scratches, regularly and thoroughly remove the dirt from the sponge. Washing should not be carried out in direct sunlight or on hot paintwork. And after applying the shampoo rinse off with fresh water as quickly as possible, otherwise shampoo residue can dry out or water stains may occur.

Or simply drive through a modern automatic carwash: the car will be washed thoroughly, and it’s also eco-friendly."

Yea, I saw that on a video for a Sonax coating product. They did recommend a hand wash over the automatic though. Or at least they did in the video I saw.

That's a write-up about prepping the paint prior to polishing.

They probably figure that polishing will correct any damage inflicted by an automatic carwash.
 
C'mon...Isn't there, at least, some "nano-trust" still available for any detailing-products companies, and their marketing practices?

I love PNS , I went 8 weeks with only Coin Op High Pressure blow offs once a week on my Black daily driver Dakota . I live in DE and we've had some sort of snow each week ,enough for them to salt/brine the roads which are no longer black but pure white .

There's so much salt on the road when driving down the Highway it looks like a fog from vehicles kicking up the salt . Yuk .

I couldn't believe my eyes how it has lasted . I will say it does seem to have fallen off just a tad at the 10 week mark . Although it still felt super slick when I hand washed it at 8 weeks .

I agree it is finicky to use , small work areas as said above it where its at . I use Carpro Suede to apply and remove .

I'm polishing a set of $$ Billet Aluminum CCW Rims now , those of you that used PNS on the rims , where you happy??? These rim don't see or wont now , see rain /salt snow etc.. But , rims take it hard in regular conditions . Wondering if I should just use PBL Wheel Coating

I actually just used SBSD on top of CQuartz UK as an "experiment" and I was pleasantly surprised by how slick the application felt; not grabby at like application on top of a sealant. The snow and the salt are having a tough time sticking to the paint.
I have the SPNS as well, just haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I used to use it all the time,wonderfull product. Then I used Gyeon cancoat,extremely easy to use,durability a good 6/8 months.
