Sorry AG, found my new source for tips and tricks.

New tip from the mouth of wax daddy himself:
"Well I just put dat citrus in ma gas tank, it really cleans out those injectors, no more of dat sortaaa carbon build up, but if ya wanna do it like the pro's and clean those spark plugs, use thaa tire brush with some citrus, it'll give it a nice clean spark!"

But a little bird told me that if you put Armor All Tire Foam in the gas as well, it'll improve your mileage, not to mention it'll really shine up that chrome on your exhaust!!!

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I just love the part in that last video where he goes "my personal favourite the foam cleaner" I nearly died of laughter....I couldn't believe he was going to recommend it AGAIN!!!!!

I hear the wax daddy is going to be introducing a new method for shining your motor in the next few days:
After you've taken the car for a really hard drive, making sure the motor is nice and hot, open up the hood and spray gasoline all over that hot motor, it'll be sure to give it that nice clean look you've been after!

Jesus, I just watched the Wax Daddy videos. You would think he drinks "citrus" for breakfast or something.

cars he has in that video are worth a couple hundred bucks at best...

The bmw video actually looked like a used car lot. He must be the inhouse detailer. Shines them up before they go out.

Sounds about right. I worked at a used car lot for a very short time, we actually had an ok detailer that we outsourced to, but almost all the detailers I have seen in that market are exactly like this guy.

I think I'm going to send wax daddy a sham-wow for x-mas this year.I think it's the only crappy detailing tool he does not have yet. That interior/tire brush looks like the one the sell at the geek.

It just goes to show you what some people consider useful information. Hopefully these same folks will find the AG site and broaden their horizons. Although most of us found these clips quite funny, I'd be willing to bet "Wax Daddy" filmed them to inform less informed people how to care for their cars. Rather then ridicule this uninformed fellow, lets hope the same people looking for guidance in car care stumble across one of AutoGeeks "how to" guides on you tube and comes to this site. We never stop learning, just some people are just further along then others.

Was Wax Daddy washing dishes or cars, dawn and citrus works well in the kitchen, but I guess he really doesn't know any better, hell if he searched you tube himself he might have found the correct way to do what he was attempting to show others before he made that vid. People that dont share the passion, jus dont have a clue.

I love it when he said "if the Formula 113 chrome cleaned didn't clean it get some real chrome cleaner".

Rolling.

His vids never get old and always bring a smile to my face.

I think the Wax Daddy was just telling us how to clean blood stains off your car after a Mafia hit job. I didn't watch all the videos, but I imagine a "1/2 gallon of Bleach" is part of the process.

:dblthumb2:I especially enjoyed his warning to make sure that there is no paint in the brush before you start to clean the leather seats.

I can imagine what the interior of that car looks like after he has taken his "foam cleaner" and sprayed it all over the place, that stuff goes everywhere when you spray it. I guess he can alway get Wax Daddy to come back and clean it up with some "citrus."

Now I know where all the towels that my grandmother threw out are. That second guy needs to invest in some microfiber......even the uber cheapie stuff is better than my grandmother's old dish rags.

As for Wax Daddy.....he is a total hottie. I may just have to send my husband packing so I can take a ride in that fine car with mildewed back seats

Well I do say this, as someone who loves to detail, I can see that big daddy has a passion for it himself. However, all of us have different ways of detailing and as for BD, some of his methods are questionable from my point of view. I tried to say it nicely Killr lol

:iagree: Even though some of his methods are not up to the latest and greatest, he did have some useful techniques. Leaf Blower, Tire Brush (Btw AG carries that very same one), Grit Guard, Dawn to remove old wax (not what I do), wipe lower panels last as to not introduce dirt to the rest of the paint. Some of it was alright, some of it should be :nomore:

It was pretty funny though and even though I wanted to laugh a few times, I didn't want to laugh at him, I wanted to laugh with him. My 2 cents.
