True story,
Years ago I had an employee who at that time was in his 30's and he was always late. I had to take him to HR department so he could explain himself for being late all the time. (Keep in mind this is a union shop) His excuse " I am so tired every morning that I just cant wake up" why are you so tired? asked HR Manager. He answered " Well when I get home I work real hard on my house till 11 pm since it is not completed yet" Manager told him " when you get to work here slow down a bit, don't work so hard and take extra rests often"

Sounds like a typical union bosses response. I'm surprised he didn't tell him he should nap-it-out after he clocks in :doh:
