I was going to wash my truck, but just heard that now I would only be able to wash between 4-7 am, and that I can't wash between 4-7 pm like before? Is that true, I looke dit up and all I could find were the updated rules for 4-7 am. Damn...lol, our cars need a wash. I'd still go ahead and wash it but knowing some of our neighbors who already don't like us for having people over all the time, they'd pry call the cops.
 
Yep I was up at 4am doing mine. Cuz I too have nazi neighbors who hate me for having noisy cars and people over all hours of the night.

Add a little more lubrication and pre-soak the area with some QD. You can also use a different mitt that will pull the contaminents away from the paint more than the conventional sponge/Shmitt.

I do it all the time. DP's 4-n-1 is a awesome product, and just so you know if you purchase a gallon of it, you can make up clay lube, QD'er, and still only use small portions for the rinseless.

I think you can still wash your car with rinseless car wash. There will hardly be any water on the ground, so I would show a finger to those neighbors...
 
haha, my roommate and I had a cop pull up yesterday for a complaint from our neighbor about us washing the cars. i got up at like, 8 to buff out his 4runner, so i had to wash first. the neighbor came out and starting giving me the third degree. i told him i was a detail and he walked away.

later on, after buffing, the car needed to be washed again from all of the dust and before the wax. so the nieghbor calls the police and this cop shows up and catches us red handed washing the 4runner. the cop was hilarious. he couldnt believe that the Boca PD actually had him come and say something to us. so he was like, "well, i cant just let you continue washing while I sit here, sooo, wait 3 or 4 min. and when i leave go for it." hahahhah, this was the coolest cop i have ever met.

he was talking trash about our neighbors complaining about it. i thought it was great.
 
o hey, judging by that water conservation site, we are allowing to wass the cars on our days from both 4-8am and 5-7 pm.


For *Lake Okeechobee Service Area (LOSA),
Lower East Coast (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade & Monroe counties) and
West Coast (Collier & Lee counties), as well as Martin County customers served by Tequesta Water Utilities and/or the Town of Jupiter Utilities.

Residents with odd-numbered home addresses will be allowed to water between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Residents with even-numbered home addresses will be allowed to water between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Sundays.
Hand-watering, using a hose with a shut-off valve, is also allowed on your designated days, from 5-7 p.m.
You may also wash cars or boats on your designated days, during any of these hours.
 
Tempting, but knowing my luck I'd end up with a ticket, friend of mine got a fine last week lol. Don't get along with most of our neighbors...guess they don't have as many friends as we do, and loud diesel trucks and sports cars annoy them :D.

Bamboo - that's what I thought, but in the news today they said you could only wash cars between 4-7 am on your day and not on 4-7 pm anymore? Hmmm have to call them and see what the right answer is.

Just change your address from odd one day, to even the next and so forth LMAO..

I wish it would rain already....like for 3 weeks strait so I can keep learning and trying diffirent things.... :(
 
They just changed our restrictions. I can only wash my cars without risk of getting a ticket on Wednesday and Saturday between 5-8 pm. It really sucks. In another month we will have more rain then they no what to do with. The fact is they don't do anything to try and save some of it. I can always wash my cars in the garage and shut the door.

Surfer, don't forget you can only flush your tolet every other day.

Think I'll just buy a crane and give each vehicle a dunk in a lake.
 
Yeah, It's gotten strict around here too. I didn't get a chance to wash my car yesterday, so I tried using 4in1 for the second time, today. This time I was happy with the results. Although I'm still a little hesitant. I'm not sure how dirty is too dirty.
 
So what would happen if you did wash your car anyways even though there are water restrictions?
