Hey guys/gals

What do you think would be the best combo on a black car.

Souveran 2 layers

Natty's blue topped with Souveran

Souveran topped with Natty's blue

???!?!

If you are going to do it, do it right-- it's a black car.
SOUVERAN!!!

My favorite wax combos in order of preference:

1) XMT Glaze & Souveran
2) Red Moose Glaze and Souveran
3) WG Glaze and Souveran

:iagree: For a black car you cannot get better than Souveran. That product excels on black and red! :)

Souveran alone, or RMG and Souveran. No comparision, its like a fine suit. Dashing !!

i like max wax

Better than Souveran or Natty's Blue? I guess it is Souveran all the way then. Thanks guys!

I like Max Wax, it is a good wax for money. But it is not as good as Souveran. Only Souveran will give you that soaking wet finish, that is especially noticeable on blacks and reds. Souveran is the way to go if you really wanna impress someone.

How does this sound, a coat of XMT swirl remover (either 1, 2 or 3, whatever is needed), then XMT Glaze, and last Souveran Wax?

sounds perfect!! What time do you want me to bring my car to your house??:p

Haha, no thanks. Im doing one last car tomorrow then mine, my dads, and my girl friends before I go back to school on the 26th. Including those, Ive done 18 cars this summer. Made some damn good money averaging about $180 per car. I also learned more and got better after each car. So now Im getting a list of supplies for next summer. Bump my prices up, advertise a little, and hopefully make at least 1k+ more then what I made this summer. More mod money for the stang. :awesome:

I think a coat of just swirl remover and the glaze will be enough for customers. But my car will get the Souveran.

Glaze has no protective properties and will disappear after the first wash or rain. If you care about this customer, I would top it with something. If you don't care and want to just say "SEE YA SUCKER" then go ahead and just glaze, but IMO, top it!

Thanks abrcrombe, didnt know the glaze wouldnt last. Im assuming the Souveran will since it says it does on the site. What are the "protective properties"? I plan to learn as much as I can during this off time so Im ready for next summer.

For a customer's car I would go with the Max wax or signature seriesII. The glaze will disappear quickly so should be topped after removal. :)

Would you guys go with Max Wax or Liquid Souveran? Im not about to spend $80 on the Souveran paste.

you'll wish you had. Seriously though if considering Souveran paste, then buy the kit off Pinnaclewax.com. Its 99.99 and free shipping. Has the wash, paint cleaner, and Crystal Mist also. Much better deal. Both of your other choices are also more than acceptable.
