Souveran paste was designed to add depth to flat colors like black, red, and yellow. It has amazing richness and wetness.

Sig Series, Sig Series II and Paste Glaz were all designed for metallics and light colors. It adds polymers that also increase reflection. SSII being the newest and best offering to date.

I knew the answer to the questiion, but here is one more I'd like to know: what is the difference in the ingredients of the two? What causes one to work better on flakes in metallic paint? And why the sharp price difference? I would definitely be interested to know whatever is permissable to share.
Blessings,
Lauren

Max wax I have never tried.
I have read a lot of rave reviews here for it, so I don't doubt its quality. I am hence unable to compare it though.

Well I've never met Max or Lauren but I believe they are both of great quality!

ah....what was the question?

hee hee, todd - were you reading about my green thong? uh -oh!

Oh Sh*t the green thong is every thread, after this you better beleive she owns one ;)

I've heard Max Wax is GREAT for metalics, not sure on what colors, so I assume all. I have a jar, but have yet to use it.

Would you choose liquid Souveran or SSII?

I would use half and half and see which one looked better. what do you think? I mean if you have both of them.

I'm going to attempt to give you a answer, or point you in the right direction. Then again, I could be wrong.

Anyways, I think Souveran has more brazillian yellow and white ultra-refined wax and a different polymers and oils.

SSII probably has a little lower volume of bazillian wax, and additional polymers or something that's non-wax related.

I couldn't imagine they BOTH have the same amount of yellow/white wax by volume. It's a combination of ingredients; polymers, oils etc.

thank you, nick. so why would that make one accent the flakes in metallic paint over the other?
