I bought the forum favorite kit a while back and I'm pleased with the results. I've been reading the reviews about SSII and it seems just as promising as Souveran and half the price! What's the major difference and is it really worth spending double on a wax?

if you search this title you will find a bunch of results

From what I have read in my hours spent searching. The Majority rule seems to be Souveran for solid Dark colors, Black, Blue, Red.

SSII gets better points for metalics

Souveran is also more of a show car wax. not long term durability.

I have Souveran and it makes my black truck glow. I'm looking forward to trying the SSII on the wifes blue metalic.

hope that helps

souveran gives my paint a drak deep warm glossy glow...

sig series 2 givesmore of a wet look .. not as deep and warm.. both are great its what ever i feel like useing.. latley ive been more into souveran.. i love how it drakens up the paint work.. and leaves that high end glossy look..great for car shows

Agree, def a more wet look compared to Souveran which in itself is fantastic and I use on my dark colored vehicles. I plan on a photo shoot this weekend, so a 2nd coat is in order.

Souveran has a glow and best seen on yellows, reds, and blacks. SSII is newer, has a newer crisper look and incredible on metallics. No wrong choice however it comes down to personal taste. Another option is Wolfgang Fuzion ....,

My cars are both dark green metallic. You would recommend SSII for them???? Or maybe the Liquid Sovereign? I using as a topper for WG sealant.

Liquid Souveran , DP MaxWax, or SSII indeed.

Thanks guys. I've been using PB Blue but wanted to try something different.

How long does the sigII last? I love the look of souveran but I also know it doesn't last long.

I currently have only one coat on a vehicle for about a month. A good amount of rain and about 4 washes and it is still beading about 85% of what it did the day I applied it. And it still looks great!
