Souveran

I have three tubs of Souveran left. I did have a total of four, took awhile to finish the first one.
I just used it today on a black c5 for a show this weekend..

I thought I saw you sneaking out of the warehouse with your pants hanging low at DFIV. I got my eyes on you at DFV !! :props:

is the liquid just as good as the paste?

Similar, but not quite the same. For me, the depth is better with the paste than with the liquid. That might vary with different paints, though. I use the paste from April through October and the liquid during the winter (on top of Duragloss 301).

I use the paste wax on my red Jetta, and I use Griot's car soap when I wash (about twice a week) and I use Crystal Mist about once every two weeks. Longevity hasn't been an issue for me. :xyxthumbs:

Souveran Paste is also my product of choice on my black car!:dblthumb2:

Sorry to bring an old topic up, but I was wondering if this will be a huge improvement over NXT 2.0 for my Acura tsx girgio. I know some wax really bring out the depth of the paint usually for flat colors. Girgio is like dark gray metallic.

On that color, I think I would go with Signature Series II or Max Wax - great waxes to be had for a reasonable price, and they will really make your paint pop! Heck get both! It would be around $85 for both versus $95 for Souveran. :props:

I don't know what year your Acura is, but it's this color, correct?

In truth, you should focus more on making sure the paint is smooth (by claying) and free of defects (by polishing), than on the wax - prep is everything. Check out these links for more info:

Yep that the color. I learned a lot from meguiar's site. I used two bucket system with grit guard. Then clay and waxed. I was thinking about getting pinnical sig 2, after reading its better for metallic color cars. Thanks guys.

I recently got a new paint job on a couple panels and the wait is killing me. I want to wax my car but don't want to do 2/3 of the car. And winter is almost here. I probably cant wax it before it start snowing.

What does polishing really do? I have a lot of swirls marks on my hood. Would washing, clay, swirl X, then 2 coats of NXT 2.0 work? I think I'm going get the Signature II soon, after I finish my NXT 2.0. I bought so many Meguiar products, going help some friends out so I can try new stuff.

What's going on guys haven't posted in a while. I just got some sovereign wax and I used on my 2011 silverstone metallic BMW M3 and all I can say is holy cow it looks amazing. I heard that it wasn't made for lighter color cars but I think it looks just great. Great shine good gloss just perfect. I used to use Wolfgang fusion but this looks 10x better.

i generally prefer fuzion over souverain but the liquid is an absolute knock out on silver mercedes. did an e 63 and now just finished a cls 550. so easy to reapply to a properly prepped car that durability doesnt matter.

Put some liquid souveran on my gold metallic ML350. The car practically glows in the dark.

Will i get the same deep effect or less effect if i use this over a sealant such as Menz Power Lock or BFWD?

Wow! Nothing else going on here at AGO that the archives have to be dug up?

I like Souveran for show car prep on any darker color. Excellent results. Durability is maybe 9-17 raindrops, so not really appropriate otherwise.
