Sovereign Liquid Spray Wax vs XMT 360 Spray Wax.

The car was just cleaned but just to make sure, I waterlessed washed the trunk deck with original formula ONR mixed 12 oz/gallon. (per Dr. G.) I like ONR for this purpose since it doesn't have anything added to boost its performance.

It simply cleans the paint without leaving anything behind-better to evaluate new product performance.

Visually there's not much difference here. Both products go on the same and wipe off with equal ease. The difference was Sovereign had more viscosity to it's consistency where XMT more "water like." That's +1 for Sovereign. Gloss was about the same with the edge (if any) going to Sovereign. I'm old school and really like the paint to "feel" super slick as well as clean. I need to touch the paint. This is where I found the Sovereign Liquid Spray Wax to be superior. Surface was definitely slicker on the Sovereign side where XMT portion felt & looked clean, it wasn't super slick.

Conclusion
I wouldn't toss my XMT or other quality spray waxes into the trash just yet. But what I would recommend is when you finish using what you have on the shelf, replace it with Sovereign Liquid Spray Wax - it's one of those products that belongs at the top of the "Wow Shelf."

As it happens I also received a sample of the New Formula Sovereign Liquid Wax (the product you apply via machine) and laid down a thin coat on the hood of my silver Q5. Waited 5 hours and sprayed it with the Sovereign Liquid Spray Wax - not sure the paint could be any glossier. OMG, it really glowed. Fantastic combo and something I would highly recommend. This could turn out to be my go to combination - just worried that it seemed a little too easy. hmmmm, think I'm hanging out with Nick & on this forum to much at this point. haha Hope this helps and definitely give it a try. It's a winning combination.

Just washed the car and decided to hit it completely with the Liquid Sovereign Spray Wax. That stuff is just fantastic. Probably should ignore all your other spray waxes and just buy this stuff. Wipes off with absolutely no fuss or muss. Leaves a beautiful glow on the paint & is super slick to the touch. Seems to contain more carnuba then other products I've tried.

Gave some to a friend along with a container of XMT 360. His findings were the same as mine - go with the Liquid Sovereign you won't be disappointed.

I thought this was a very nice review. I do not understand why more people have not replied or commented . I have on order Pinnacle Sovereign Liquid and Spray wax (Hope they come soon) . I also hope I'm as happy with it as you. I am putting it on a Black Lexus. Your White Audi looked great! Thank you for the time to do the review. I was wondering what the difference between XMT 360 and Pinnacle Spray was, other than size.

I use this wax when prepping Sally for a car show.
