Sparkie & Surfer - DG Help!

I know Sparkie is a DG aficionado and I think Surfer used the DG soap too. Anyone else, please feel free to comment.

I finally got a bottle of the Duragloss Soap that Sparkie and so many others have raved about. My car not too dirty except for a lot of rain dirt spots. I put two oz of DG in the AG foam gun and 4 or 5 oz of water.

Here is a picture of the foam, immediately after spraying:

As you can see, there is some foam, but not a huge amount. Do I need a different mixture? It did not seem all that slick and I didn't notice a big clean-ability (does that make sense?) over other soaps I've used.

Please let me know if I should be using it differently.

you can taylor the foam gun by moving the pin to the left. I rather like the DG soap and mine looks similar. Its not super slick, but it is rather well lubricated.

I don't have a foam gun, used a buddies and don't remember teh ratio I used. But as far as the soap, thats weird, I love it. I used Poorboys SSS exclusively before and after I ran out I stayed with DG. Its a very gentle cleaner though, so if the car is fairly dirty might not work the best. I know it foamed like crazy for me in teh gun, and even in the bucket it foams up and the suds last a long time.

Sparkie will be better help, I've barely washed my truck since January b/c of the water restrictions so I never bothered buying a foam gun, just used my buddies before.

maybe you should get some of the dp soap for the foam gun? although i think it looks pretty good to me.
then again your car always looks good - it is a jag!!!

d/p extreme foam os the way to go!!! ive tryed them all this is the only one that gives you tons of sudds!!!!!

I know about adjusting the pin, maybe should have moved it all the way to the end for the max foam. The DG did foam okay, nothing like the DP Xtreme Foam. Next week I'll try putting a little more DG to Water. I know it smells like cherries, but my nose was too stopped up to get a good smell. It was also hot and humid today so that may have affected my mood! LOL.

Move that pin all the way out. DG soap wasn't made for the foam gun like DP Xtreme Foam. But I use it anyway on mine.
It's made to clean without removing LSP. It also puts down a lite sealant on the paint. On some paint you can see it improved the look.

While I have a PW foam cannon, even with that, I have to open the valve up more using 901 for the cool whip effect. And to be quite honest, after using a foam gun? I'd rather use a bucket.

Never used DG in a fuam gun. I used DP Xtreme foam formula, Poorboy's SS&S, and Poorboy's SS&W.
DP Xtreme foam rocks in a foam gun, with SS&S being very similar, but not quite as good. SS&W sucked in a foam gun. Never tried any other soaps in a foam gun.
