Special Visit From Surprise Guest! (Too cool)

At mid-morning today, I stepped outside to take a business phone call and as I was standing talking on the phone I saw this Turtle trucking across our parking lot towards the fence line where there's a gully.

I quickly grabbed my camera and took a couple of pictures...

He was pretty good size and seem to not only know where he was going but in a hurry to get there...

:)

Did you try and polish him up a bit before he got away?

There's gotta be a turtle wax joke that will work here

Aww so cute! He was probably a spy from the Turtle Wax company trying to get his products into Autogeek!

He's probably a Turtle Wax salesman in disguise trying to sneak in the back door!!

That's too funny. Up here in PA we have snapping turtles that can take a finger off in one snap!! I thought TW too..

They are very nasty and very aggressive too. they are not afraid of humans or anything else. I have caught them up to 3 feet in length.

PS. Still praying for little Tommy!!:dblthumb2:

Those snappers can get really big, and they are mean, but they are tasty too!

That there is a gopher turtle. They burrow underground. You may want to check your buildings plumbing for sabotage. Turtles can be quite mischievous. Unfortunately for them, their get-a-way car is attached to them and there aint much horsepower being applied to the drive wheels...or feet in this case. Just fyi, they are a protected species in FL and my new house was delayed because they found that one lived nearby. I didn't think about dropping it off at AG HQ.

Looks like the turtle has a couple holes in the side of his shell... If they are bullet holes I think that little guy has all the qualifications and street cred to become a multi-platinum selling Rapper! LOL
