Spectacular paint on a '97 Eldorado; how do I keep it protected?

I thought I was supposed to dry wth the microfibers.

Whee! another toy!

:)

Nice Cadillac! Why are you taking it to a body shop to have it cleaned?

Yeah if you do that be prepared to find a quality professional detailer to fix the mess they will most likely make of it.

My friend just paid his "neighbor" who owns a body shop $3 grand to repaint his truck. Their were orbital buffer marks in it and that's on a fresh paint job. He did a great job on the paint but....just be for warned, their are literally hundreds of posts here about body shops trashing paint when guys just took it in for a fender repaint or bumper etc and they "buffed" the entire car out for them and ruined all their hard work.

Plus if/when you do a traditional bucket wash, you're going to need a waffle weave microfiber towel to dry. Any other towel lesser than that simply won't do.

I picked it up.

For some reason, I was expecting it to not get really wet :)

Another panel (engine hood) down . . .''
