Speed Channel RIP - December 31st, 1995 to August 16th, 2013

I have to admit I did not watch the speed channel as much near the end. The main reason is they moved it I could never find it. You have to remember when I was growing up we only had 3 channels and no cable tv. Now with hundreds of channels is just to confusing to find and remember.

We had 4 and at 1:00AM they would sign off with the National Anthem, then a test screen with the high pitch audio, then the test screen would disappear into a tiny dot!

RIP Speed.

Any other remarks I could make would surly get my old butt tossed...LOL

Oh boy I remember that well.....LOL!

It sucks I'll miss it terribly ... don't watch any sports other than the ones that were on speed like Motocross, Moto GP, Drag Racing, etc. all the good stuff I don't care for throwing balls around I want to see some HORSEPOWER and WRENCHING!!

RIP Speed you will be missed and I don't think I will ever turn on Fox Sports None .......

I don't watch ESPN nor will I watch this new Fox channel. I watch Football and Hockey games and don't need a channel to hear a bunch of opinions, I listen to sports talk radio for that.

I no longer Watch TV except for TV shows I download from the Internet. But, there is a very good car channel on youtube : Drive.

This is the channel where Larry Kosilla has his show: Drive Clean.

Here is a show that came out yesterday that is amazing:

I don't watch stick and ball sports programming. Speed was about 70% of what I watched. I found Autogeek from Speed. We don't get Velocity as it is packaged for extra $. Sorry Comcast, you won't get any more $ from me. I'd rather spend at Autogeek.
