Speed settings

Need the recommended speed settings for detailing a fiberglass boat...gel coat. Can anyone please provide the settings for:
Compounding
Finesse II
Polymer wax

What machine do you have, rotary or dual action?

Full speed ahead... I have my doubts that you'll get very good results without a rotary and wool pads on the gelcoat unless there's no real oxidation to speak of. Please let us know how you make out and if you can, post some photos.

I agree with Dave (and Jack)... But age has taken its' toll on using a rotary, So I use an XP with yellow LC pads and Megs 'Power Cut' (M-91) followed with 'One-Step' (M-67) and an orange pad then 'Cleaner Wax' (M-50) with a white pad and get good results.

Thanks bill for providing some light at the end of the tunnel. This is an 18 foot flats skiff..have the 7346 and the pads and the time. Should be fine.
