SpeedFreak Detailed: '14 Tesla MS - Correction/PPF/Opti Coat Pro

I was contacted by this customer a couple weeks ago after he took delivery of his black '14 Tesla Model S P85+. He was interested in PPF and Opti Coat so after a brief email exchange regarding the required prep, I got him on the books. The car showed up with relatively minor defects, some light swirling and a few RIDS here and there but nothing too serious. I was able to one step it with Primer Polish and that got rid of most everything, some compound was required on the deeper stuff. We applied Suntek self healing PPF to the entire front end, A pillars, painted area above the windshield, in front of the rear wheel wells, and the entire front bumper. The owner opted for the upgraded wheels (these things are NICE!) and wanted to protect them, so I hit them with Primer Polish and coated them too.

  • CG Citrus Wash
  • Clay Magic w/DoDo Juice Born Slippery lube
  • Rupes blue cutting microfiber w/Rupes Zephir compound - Rupes 21
  • Primer Polish on LC Grey power finish pad via FLEX 3401
  • Opti Coat Pro
  • Sonax glass cleaner
  • CarPro Perl on tires
  • Suntek self healing PPF

Wow just Wow that Tesla is done beautifully, and anytime you can see a perfect mirror reflection in the wheels you know that car was pampered correctly to the fullest

Wow that looks incredible and these are some beautiful cars too! Tesla is definitely heading in the right direction.
 
Reflections look incredible, did you edit the photos?
I would love to own one of those, no more gas!

How do the door handles work? They look flush with the paint is it a button?

They pop out when you walk up to the car, then retract when you drive off!
